Jana Kramer is a country musician, actor and singer who rose to stardom on the television screen when she was cast as Alex in One Tree Hill for the last three seasons. The show featured her debut albums as country music, propelling her 2012 debut album in the Billboard 200 to the Top 20. Her follow-up 2015's Thirty One reached the Top Ten. The decade ended by appearances in Dancing with the Stars. In 2021, The Self-Doubting Voices was released. Jana Rae Kramer was born and brought up in Rochester Hills Michigan. She spent her childhood listening to country music, and eventually went on to explore a career in recording. But, she made her acting debut as a teenager in 2002's indie horror movie Dead/Undead. Her appearances were in guest spots on All My Children, CSI: NY and Friday Night Lights for the second season of the series 2007-2008. Kramer was in 90210 in 2008-2009 as Portia and Brooke Manning before joining One Tree Hill on the CW in 2009. There, she played the role of Alex Dupre. The actress was signed a contract to sign an agreement with Elektra Records, and she introduced her new contemporary country song I Won't Give up in the One Tree Hill 2011 episode. It later appeared as a track on Jana Kramer, her debut album released in 2012. Billboard Top Country Albums ranked it among the Top Five. Later, she concentrated her acting career around music and acted in films such as Heart of the Country 2013 along with Country Crush 2016, which attracted her followers directly. The album was released in October 2015. Kramer came out with thirty One with Warner Music Nashville. The album was helped by Kramer's Top Five country song I Got the Boy as well as a duet performed with Steven Tyler from Aerosmith. This album reached number 3 in the Billboard 200 country charts and top 10 on the Billboard 200. In September she stayed for two months participating in season 23 of Dancing with the Stars, and finished with an overall fourth position. That same year she had a huge adult contemporary track with Straight No Chaser's Feels Like Christmas.
