Awkwafina

Awkwafina was initially an American rapper and singer, releasing sly tracks that tackled topics like racial or sexual identities with a funny twist. In the years before she stepped to Hollywood the singer could make a few songs. Nora Lum, born in Forest Hills Queens to Chinese and Korean immigrants was her very first musical encounter. She played the trumpet. Following her Jazz and classical training her interest in hip-hop grew when she was an teen. While in the school, she focused on journalism and woman's studies. She was also a student of Mandarin briefly in Beijing. She didn't start focusing on music until the time she graduated. After becoming famous via the Internet and her own track My Vag was a reaction to the song of Mickey Avalon's My Dick. It eventually appeared on the album she released, Yellow Ranger. The album also featured viral hit tracks, such as body-positive Queef and winking tour of her home NYC Bitche$. The latter song was linked directly into another venture Awkwafina's NYC a travel guide published in 2015. With musician and author as her credentials, she determined to pursue a third endeavor actor. Apart from early series such as Girl Code and Tawk she was also featured in movies like Neighbors 2, Storks and Bad Rap. In the year 2018, she was offered a number of breakthrough roles, such as Dude Ocean's Eight or Crazy Rich Asians. The EP was released in June.
